This bag was originally designed for myself to set the Fastest Known Time across the Oregon section of the Pacific Crest Trail.
28L internal volume fast pack with fully attached vest style straps offered with customizable sizing, materials, and colors.
Roll-top entry with 3/8" buckle and kam snap closures.
Pleated side bottle pockets.
Front stretch pocket with g-hook closure and waterproof zipper pocket on front panel
Rear-entry bottom pocket. and waterproof zipper phone pocket on front panel.
The most unique part of this bag is the vest. Unlike other "vest-style" packs of this size, this vest is sewn directly into the side panel. The vest has a foam upper yoke and is doubled 1/8" 3-D spacer mesh, bound in 1" elastic. The closure system is a shock-chord + adjustable hook system. All of these things allow the vest to move with you and creates a "hug" feeling when you wear the pack. The vest is tensioned/adjusted from the inside w/ ladder locks & 3/4" webbing.
The vest has 8 total pockets (3L total volume), including 2 lower ones that can hold up to 750ml soft flask comfortably. *please specify any alternate vest pocket configuration in "message" box on custom order form.
All vests and packs are made to order, unless listed in the "Stock Packs" section of the website. Vests are sized using chest circumference (at widest part) and stomach circumference (around belly button).
Please select "N/A" for "custom materials" if you are customizing your pack with in stock fabrics such as ultragrid or EP(L)X (excluding Ultraweave options; 100X, 200X, 200TX, etc.). The alternate options are for ordering custom materials (ultraweave/ dyneema) or custom prints.
