"Crunchy" 33L

I used this pack on Vermont's Long Trail and my main takeaway was how thoughtful the pocket design was. I'm usually not a fan of packs with a ton of pockets, because I find a lot of them don't utilize space well or predict how I actually want to use the bag. This pack does this perfectly, with pouches for my Garmin and an underside pocket for rain gear that I can access without taking the pack off.
I ended up sending my fanny pack home because the shoulder vest pocket situation let me organize everything I wanted to grab during the day (portable charger, snacks, spork, etc.) without digging into my bag.
Durability was fantastic and the stretchy material looks brand new, even after dragging it across every quartz slab in the state of Vermont.
It's very clear this pack was designed by a thru-hiker who knows exactly how we want our packs to work for us throughout the day!

Way bigger than I expected for a 33L pack… but damn does it ride well with the vest 🙌🏼
Excited to use this as my longer more casual pack and once I find a job or sell more things, I’ll be looking at that FKP!

I’ve tried over 10 packs in my 13ish years of backpacking, and the Crunchy is hands down the most comfortable pack I’ve ever used. With other packs, I'm constantly adjusting the straps, unable to get it "just right." Behold the Crunchy. The custom-fit Crunchy is perfect for my long torso and carries weight like a champ! J.J. made a very well-thought-out pack and has been super communicative to help me get exactly what I wanted. Plus, NO VELCRO!
