Please only order a bag if you are okay with the wait time. I spend a lot of time making each of these bags by hand and give extra care to ensure their quality. These bags are available in 3 different sizes and in 7 different colors of Ultragrid. These bags were created in the bunkhouse this winter at Cerro Gordo, specifically for Brent's adventures around town!
SIZING: SMALL: 15"-18" MEDIUM: 18"-21" LARGE: 21"-24"
DESCRIPTION: The majority of the body is made from Challenge Sailcloth Ultra 800 Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight-Polyethylene (UHMWPE) (black) fabric. This 800 denier fabric has extremely high tear and tensile strength and is most similar to ballistic nylon.
- Side, bottom, and back panels are made of Ultra 800.
- Front panel, interior compartment liner, collar, vest-front, hipbelts, and inside pockets are made from Challenge Ultragrid (offered in 7 alternate colors).
Ultragrid is woven with 210d recycled nylon yarn from pre-consumer industrial waste. Provides exceptional tear-strength, with a C 0 DWR coating, finished with a waterproof 1500mm PU backing. All stretch pockets (vest, front, bottom, and sides) are made from Challenge Sailcloth UltraStretch. UltraStretch is a light, durable, and tear-resistant 4-way stretch mesh woven with Nylon 6-6, Lycra, and Ultra-PE (UHMWPE)
- Roll-top closure with removable side compression straps.
- Waterproof front zipper pocket (can fit a cell phone and more).
- Front UltraStretch pocket
- UltraStretch bottom (side-entry) pocket with trash hole.
- Side panel with Tripod pocket and compression.
- Other side panel has a full, dual-waterproof HHH zipper entry into main compartment. Also has a detachable water-bottle pocket, daisy chained webbing for lashing, and side compression.
- Interior: One main compartment fully lined with UltraGrid (color match). The main Ultra 800 compartment is waterproof taped, although it is hidden by the liner.
- Back Panel: Ultra 800 with 1/8" 3D spacer mesh cushion.
- Shoulder Straps: Vest-style shoulder straps are made of corresponding color UltraGrid front and 1/8" spacer mesh back with 1/8" foam inside. 2 lower UltraStretch chest pockets have dual-full zippers + drawstring and top entry. One upper vest pocket dedicated for radio/phone. The other upper-vest pocket is a single-zip UltraStretch pocket dedicated for smaller treasures!
- Hipbelts: Corresponding color of Ultragrid, oversized hip-belt pockets with waterproof zipper is backed with 1/8" spacer mesh and stuffed with 1/4" foam. Hipbelts are permanently attached to every bag and are large enough to fit most cell phones.

I was excited to receive the Backpack. It is very nice and well made. I do like the assorted pockets and Double zipper pulls. One thing I would suggest to add to the bag is a small loop or clip in a pocket for a secure place to stow keys. I have this on other bags i have and it is used often.
Even with out this feature the bag is great bag.

Looks like a great back pack. Although have yet to use it in a wilderness situation.
Just got my Cerro Gordo bag in. It is more amazing than I imagined. Quality work. Great organizing pockets and locations. 10/10 would recommend supporting all involved in this quality backpack.
Jt is a good dude and I’m stoked on my pack, the craftsmanship is excellent and he even put a bladder pouch for me! Also part of the funds go to the town of Cerro Gordo and he legit does make these by hand
